I grew up in Spruitview with a big dream and very little to work with. The streets were familiar, the environment was ordinary, but inside me there was always something pushing for more. I did not have industry connections or fancy equipment. I had belief. I had rhythm. I had vision.
Music started as an outlet. It became my focus. Then it became my discipline. I learned patience before I learned success. I learned resilience before I saw recognition. Nothing moved fast. Everything required consistency.
Spruitview gave me character. It gave me hunger. It gave me perspective. It taught me how to stand firm when things feel uncertain. Every challenge shaped the man I am today.
Now when I return home as someone who has built a name, it feels different. The same roads, the same houses, the same energy, but I walk them with gratitude. I am proud of where I come from. I carry it with me everywhere I go.
Straight Outta Spruitview is not about hype.
It is about growth, pride, and never forgetting the ground that raised you.
